Hello Tappers,

A year ago, we launched Science on Tap with the goal of delivering you a weekly dose of timely and fun science news. We hope you have enjoyed the editions and that you came away smarter because of them. We’ll admit, we learned a thing or two ourselves, and we loved providing each edition to you (that’s putting it mildly!). We are sad to share that we will deliver the final edition of Science on Tap on Friday, December 18. This was a hard decision to say the least, but we are excited to focus on other initiatives with our organization AAAS to spread science news and information. We want to say, don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened (thanks, Dr. Seuss, for that gem).

But don’t worry! We know there’s great stuff on the horizon. So, don’t go saying ‘bye, Felicia!’ just yet. For our AAAS Members (
or those who want to be), rest assured that there are other ways for you to get your science fix via the AAAS Member Update and the AAAS Policy Alert. And although Science on Tap’s sunset is here, our team at AAAS is passionate about bringing science to the community and we will be busy working on other ways to do so. Thank you for your continuous support of Science on Tap! We <3 you guys!

See you later, alligator, and make sure to stay connected to AAAS.

Yours truly,
The Science on Tap team
